Playworks Team Building Philippines proudly brought its expertise to Guam to facilitate a three-day leadership and team building program for two leading companies: Atkins Kroll and Morrico Equipment. WIth the launch of Atkin's Kroll's new initiative Accelerate+: One Team, One Journey, Accelerating Together, this event highlighted collaboration, leadership, perspective-thinking and leadership in a dynamic setting.
Day 1 & 2: Leadership Team of Atkins Kroll
The first two days were dedicated to the leadership team of Atkin's Kroll, including Clark Boswell, Vice President and General Manager at Atkins Kroll Guam & Saipan. Facilitated by Geoffrey Nuval, Nikki Aquila, Rix Hernandez and JJ Calimlim, the program blended reflective practices, experiential games, and strategic workshops designed to empower leaders for long-term success.
Day 3: Morrico Equipment Employees
On the 3rd day, Playworks welcomed the employees of Morrico Equipment for their Accelerate+ In Action team building program.
Highlights included:
Nation Ball (Japanese Dodgeball): A high-energy, collaborative game that fostered teamwork, trust and quick decision-making.
Interactive workshops designed to strengthen alignment with leadership goals and build stronger bonds among employees.
Reflective Yoga Session
The program opened with an energizing Reflective Yoga Session, combining mindful movement and leadership reflection. Gentle poses encouraged participants to stretch beyond their comfort zones, while partner and group poses symbolized trust, balance and connection- a perfect way to prepare for deeper leadership conversations.
6 Points of Leadership
Leaders mapped their personal growth using post-its on a leadership board. This exercise became a visual of growth and collective development, allowing individuals to recognize their progress while aligning with the team's bigger goals.
Creative Reflections
Through a simple drawing exercise, participants expressed their roles metaphorically. Peers enhanced each other's illustrations, creating a web of collaboration that revealed how strengths across team could contribute to shared success.
Clear Communication Relay
This dynamic activity tested delegation and communication. Leaders, supervisors and employees worked together to complete builds with limited instructions, emphasizing the importance of clarity and trust in leadership.
Unified Build
Teams worked with fragile materials to build the tallest, most stable tower. This fun yet challenging game highlighted problem-solving, strategy and adaptability- crucial for any leadership team.
Accelerate+ In Action:
Functional teams (sales, operations, admin) used Edward de Bono's 6 Thinking Hats to brainstorm actionable initiatives that supported the Accelerate+ vision. Each group pitched their ideas in a Shark Tank-style presentation, reinforcing creativity, accountability, and follow-through.
