Event Organizer

Looking for our next set of Event Organizers, a.k.a. Playworks Angels!! To be a Playworks Angel you must be game for any challenge, be meticulous, handle pressure and deadlines, and really have a love for travel.

Expect a lot of travel in this job, as you will not only organize events in Manila, but in popular destinations like Tagaytay, Laguna, Batangas, Subic, Cebu, Boracay, and maybe even abroad!Playworks Angels in Boracay, Philippines!

You must be a multi-tasker as you will handle multiple corporate accounts for some of the largest companies in the Philippines (ABS-CBN, Globe, Jollibee) and the world (JPMorgan, Toyota, Shell, P&G).  

Event Organizer work hand in hand with the clients, our Operations Manager, and our Facilitators, helping to plan and deliver quality Team Building programs for our clients around the Philippines.

Base salary dependent on prior experience, education, and skill set.  Commission and bonus dependent on performance and work level status.

Skills Needed:

  • Able to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
  • Able to use Internet Apps:  Facebook, Wordpress
  • Personable and friendly with clients
  • Speaks English & Tagalog fluently

Requirements:

  • College graduate or diploma in:
    • Business Administration
    • Marketing
    • Hotel Restaurant Management
    • Or related courses

Pluses:

  • Prior experience in Event Coordination

Office Administrator & Sales Support

We need a driven, energetic individual!  Someone willing to push him/herself with a natural ability to handle clients.  This person would handle general office work:  inbound calls/emails, encoding, scheduling, keeping office organized, upkeep of our online properties (Facebook, website, etc.).  Primary work would be drafting proposals, presentations for our clients, and assisting during client meetings.  

Base salary dependent on prior experience, education, and skill set.   

Skills Needed:

  • Able to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
  • Able to use Internet:  Facebook, Wordpress
  • Personable and friendly with guests
  • Speaks English & Tagalog fluently

Team Building Facilitator

We are looking for more team building facilitators to join our team!  Facilitators will handle corporate or large school groups, running them through a set schedule of activities and imparting learnings along the way.

Must be willing to travel outside Manila for facilitations.  Destinations include: Tagaytay, Laguna, Batangas, Bataan, Subic, La Union, Baguio, Mindanao, Cebu, Boracay.

Both on-call and full time positions are open.

Skills/Qualities needed:

  • Speaks Tagalog/English fluently
  • Can speak authoritatively in front of large crowds
  • Physically fit and able to work through the weather
  • Fast learner and quick thinker
  • Positive attitude and willing to learn

Requirements:

  • College degree/diploma from a top university
  • Work experience in any major industry is a plus
  • Prior facilitating/training experience is an advantage

Software Developer

We are  looking for full-time / part-time / flexi-time developers to build out the database and programs used by our group of companies including Playworks, HotelPro, and Webgenie, as well as their clients.

Developed within the Zoho Creator environment using the Deluge language.

For full-time developers, because of the job’s association with Playworks and HotelPro, travel to different resorts in the Philippines is a part of the job!

Base salary dependent on prior experience, education, and skill set.


Skills Needed:

  • Able to program using any C-language
  • Can learn to program using ZOHO Creator / Deluge

  • Personable and friendly with cleints
  • Speaks English & Tagalog fluently
  • Team player

Requirements:

  • College graduate for Computer Science/ Computer Engineering / Software Engineering with at least 1 year of experience
