Geoffrey Nuval, founder of Playworks & Chief Facilitator, has spoken and presented at numerous conferences in the Philippines and the U.S. on the topics of entrepreneurship in the workplace, marketing in a socially networked world, and the influence of game mechanics and rewards programs on user behavior.

He returned to the Philippines after spending over a decade in the United States.  While abroad, he attained a BS in Management Science & Engineering with Honors from Stanford University and initiated a course in Entrepreneurship at the Oxford University's Said Business School in the United Kingdom.

After graduation, he spent some time in Silicon Valley investing in Internet startups for the former Lehman Brothers (now Tenaya Capital) and then went on to found and become CEO of Devhub.com in Seattle and Privacy Central in Los Angeles. 

It was during this time Mr. Nuval became an early pioneer and expert on gamification, the application of real game mechanics – such as points, levels, ranking, and rewards – to improve or influence people’s behaviour

In an effort to contribute to the growth and improvement of the Philippine workforce, Mr. Nuval formed Playworks here in the Philippines, a team building company based upon the principles of gamification. 

Nikki Aguila, Strategic Partnerships Manager and Facilitator, is a loyal, team-spirited individual who is able to gain confidence of people.  Adept at bringing people to strive for a common purpose, she has organized numerous successful team building and group seminar events for some of the largest companies in the Philippines.  She also conducts seminars on corporate sales.

Nikki has prior corporate experience in sales and product marketing for Fujitsu, selling multi-million dollar projects to the country’s leading telecoms such as PLDT and Smart Communications. 

She holds a BS in Electronics & Communications Engineering from De La Salle University.

Raymond Villanueva, Lead Facilitator, has extensive experience in managing large-scale event organization for Local and International companies up to 6,000 attendees, including HP, Lenovo, Toyota China and Japan, Tupperware, Roche, and Herbalife.

Mr. Raymond has over 14 years of working in the hospitality industry in Manila and Abroad. His experience in large-scale operations includes opening The Venetian Macao and Sheraton Hotel Cotai Central, overseeing 500+ people in his team. He also opened and managed the prestigious Shangri-la at the Fort in Bonifacio Global City.

Mr. Raymond holds a degree in AB Social Science from Ateneo de Manila University.

Pat Romano, RPm, MAED GC, Facilitatorspecializes on Character development, mindfulness and self-awareness. He is an experienced Guidance Advocate with focus on team buildings, leadership, mental health and resiliency.

Mr. Patrick holds a License in Psycometrics with BS Major in Psychology at Letran Manila and MAED in Guidance and Counseling at St. Paul University Manila.

John Alvin Jiao, Facilitator & HR,is skilled in Learning Engagement and Development Process, Training Needs Analysis and Organizational Development. He is an experienced Human Resources Trainer and Recruiter.

Alvin is a specialist in inspirational team buildings, able to resolve organizational conflicts and revitalize a team’s confidence.

Mr. Alvin holds a BA Major in Psychology Arts in De La Salle University Dasmarinas.

JJ Calimlim, Facilitator & Operations Manager, s a quick-witted thinker able to invigorate a crowd. Her fun and interactive team building style focuses on realizing a large team's full potential while still making sure a company’s objectives are met.

She is a customer service and communications industry veteran with sharp organization skills and a strong ability to train groups from a variety of backgrounds. JJ has experience in hosting events, online content, webinars and team buildings as part of the new norm.

Ms. JJ holds a BA in Communications Arts in St Paul University Manila.

Christian Ian Ocampo, Facilitator, is a skilled speaker, trainer, facilitator, and host with a passion for helping companies grow their team and improve their team dynamic. His guidance towards creating positive and honest culture in the workplace has helped build trust and collaboration in the companies he has worked with.

He has extensive experience in managing large-scale event organization for Local and International companies with up to 1,000 attendees. He has 10 years of experience as a host and trainer of multi-national companies and has done voiceovers for various companies around the Philippines.

Ian was a scholar for Theatre Arts and holds a degree in BS Information Technology at De La Salle University – Dasmariñas.

Gilbert Lavides, Facilitator, is a crowd energy booster able to conduct highly stimulating team buildings no matter the crowd size.

Mr. Gilbert has nearly a decade of industry experience planning,

managing, and conducting major companywide events for large multinational companies, including Cypress Manufacturing and Intel.

Mr. Gilbert holds a BS in Industrial Engineering from the Mapua Institute of Technology.
