Playworks Team Building Philippines partnered with Eltek for a unique leadership development experience combining an Emotional Intelligence Workshop with an Acting Workshop for Leaders. The program was designed to help managers strengthen not only how they understand and manage emotions, but also how they communicate, connect, and show up as leaders.
The Emotional Intelligence session explored practical tools for self-awareness, emotional regulation, empathy, trust, and effective communication. Leaders examined how emotions influence workplace relationships, decision-making, collaboration, and the way teams respond during periods of change.
Playworks then brought leadership development into an unexpected space: acting. Through acting exercises, participants practiced skills such as presence, active listening, body language, vocal delivery, improvisation, and responding authentically in the moment. These exercises challenged leaders to become more aware of how their words, emotions, and non-verbal communication affect the people around them.
By combining Emotional Intelligence and acting techniques, the workshop moved beyond traditional classroom learning. Participants were given opportunities to practice difficult conversations, build confidence, communicate with greater empathy, and develop a leadership presence that feels both credible and human.
